Obama Forgoes Chance To Push Through CFPB Nomination

Law360, New York (January 03, 2012, 4:38 PM ET) -- President Barack Obama on Tuesday bypassed the opportunity to recess-appoint Richard Cordray to lead the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, but left open the possibility that he could appoint Cordray without the Senate's approval in the future.
