FTC Told Google Violated Buzz Settlement

Law360, New York (February 17, 2012, 4:31 PM ET) -- Lawmakers and consumer groups on Friday urged the Federal Trade Commission to take immediate action against Google Inc. for allegedly violating consumers' choices and its prior Google Buzz settlement with the agency by placing third-party cookies that circumvented a privacy setting on Apple Inc.’s Safari Web browser.
