Warner Chilcott Subpoenaed Over Marketing, Off-Label Use

Law360, New York (February 24, 2012, 2:17 PM ET) -- Warner Chilcott PLC and some of its employees have received subpoenas from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts about matters including off-label drug use, sales and marketing activities, and payments to people who recommend drugs, the Irish pharmaceutical company said Friday.

The subpoenas, received Wednesday, also addressed medical education, consultancies, prior authorization processes, clinical trials, employee training and physician remuneration, the Dublin-based company said in a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Form 10-K annual report.
