Consumers Claim JC Penney Ads Gloss Over Jewelry Quality

Law360, New York (March 9, 2012, 7:13 PM ET) -- Retail giant J.C. Penney Co. Inc. has been lying to its consumers about the purity and origin of its fine jewelry, prompting them to purchase inferior goods, according to a proposed class action filed last week in California federal court.
