Law360, New York (May 02, 2012, 6:47 PM ET) -- Consumers launched class actions this week against at least seven companies recently targeted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration over their marketing of potentially unsafe exercise supplements containing DMAA, foreshadowing what could be an onslaught of suits over the compound.
On Friday, the FDA sent warning letters to 10 manufacturers and distributors of dietary supplements containing dimethylamylamine, better known as DMAA.
