NY Bill Would Ban Credit Card Surcharges At Gas Stations

Law360, New York (May 03, 2012, 5:21 PM ET) -- New York lawmakers drafted a bill Wednesday to ban gas stations from charging motorists up to $5 per gallon extra to fill up with credit cards instead of cash, introducing the stiffest legislation yet targeting the practice amid increasing customer outrage.
