CFPB Working On Enforcement Actions, But Timing Unclear

Law360, New York (May 03, 2012, 7:16 PM ET) -- The nation's top consumer finance watchdog on Thursday said that his agency was actively working on a range of potential enforcement actions, but that nothing was imminent at the moment.

In an interview with Law360, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Richard Cordray said much of the attention the newly created regulatory agency has generated has come from rule making required under the Dodd-Frank Act, which created the CFPB.
