Court Backs Toss Of EMT's Facebook Privacy Firing Suit

Law360, New York (July 06, 2012, 5:01 PM ET) -- A Texas state appeals court on Thursday upheld the dismissal of an emergency medical technician's suit alleging his former employer violated his privacy by firing him after reading his disparaging comments on Facebook, finding the appeal failed to demonstrate intrusion of privacy.
