Law360, New York (March 29, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- When private equity firms Texas Pacific Group and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. needed legal representation in the $45 billion deal to acquire Dallas-based utility TXU, they turned to the energy lawyers at Vinson & Elkins, a firm that’s been focused on energy work since 1917.
