Law360, New York (February 24, 2012, 12:35 PM ET) -- BC Partners, Bain Capital LLC and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. have sold a minority stake in German chemicals distributor Brenntag AG for €577.5 million ($774.4 million), just weeks after an earlier divestment, the private equity firms announced Friday.
Goldman led the transaction for joint fund Brachem Acquisition SCA, which sold off 7 million shares at €82.50 ($110.60) per share, Brenntag said. The deal represented a 13.6 percent stake, leaving Brachem with about a 13.7 percent interest in the company.
