Paul Hastings Helps Tan-Eu Land 1M-Square-Foot Beijing Site

Law360, New York (May 04, 2012, 6:03 PM ET) -- Hong Kong-based investment firm Tan-Eu Capital and construction company Socam Development Ltd. picked up a 1-million-square-foot property near Beijing that they plan to convert to a sprawling mixed-use complex, Tan-Eu said Friday.

The two acquired the site from a local investor marking the first purchase for their joint $400 million real estate fund. The purchase price was not disclosed. Tan-Eu and Socam were advised on the deal by Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker LLP.
