Law360, New York (May 07, 2012, 2:49 PM ET) -- A bipartisan bloc of 15 state senators introduced legislation Monday to unplug Blackstone Group LP's proposed Canada-to-New York City power line by curtailing the ability of energy companies eyeing out-of-state generation projects to easily snap up Empire State land.
