Deals Rumor Mill: Flipboard, Warburg Pincus, Go Scale Capital

By Linda Chiem (May 27, 2015, 6:18 PM EDT) -- Google Inc. and Yahoo Inc. are both considering buying Flipboard Inc., reaching out and holding early discussions with the maker of the magazine-style news reader app on a possible deal that would bolster the Internet titans' content offerings, The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday. The early discussions that Flipboard has had with both Google and Yahoo have reportedly touched on how products could be integrated, but haven't yet reached a point of determining an actual price, according to the WSJ. Those discussions come on the heels of Flipboard's talks with Twitter Inc. on a rumored $1 billion acquisition, but those talks have been stalled since last month, the WSJ said....
