Deals Rumor Mill: McDonald's, Rockwell Collins, Decolar.com

By Benjamin Horney (December 1, 2016, 6:52 PM EST) -- The Carlyle Group and China's Citic Group Corp. are leading a group that is on the verge of acquiring McDonald's Corp.'s China and Hong Kong outlets in a deal that could be worth as much as $3 billion, Reuters reported on Thursday. According to the report, an agreement is expected to be inked before Christmas. Such a deal would bring to a close the saga of what will happen with the McDonald's stores located in China and Hong Kong, with reports over the past few months naming TPG Capital Management, Bain Capital LLC, GreenTree Hospitality, Sanpower Group Co. Ltd. and Wumart Stores Inc. among those that at one point were vying to reach a deal with the fast food giant....
