Law360, New York (August 06, 2009, 2:06 PM ET) -- Kaplan Early Learning Co. has voluntarily recalled a line of hanging baby-hammocks in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission because infants may be at risk of falling from the hammock or being strangled if they become entangled in it.
North Carolina-based Kaplan issued the recall Tuesday for the La Siesta Yayita Baby Hammocks, which sold for about $100 in the company’s catalog and Web site, urging consumers to immediately stop using the baby hammock.
About 200 hammocks are affected by the recall, Kaplan said....
