Law360, New York (September 24, 2009, 5:27 PM ET) -- A clove cigar importer has reportedly filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Food and Drug Administration challenging the agency's recent ban of cigarettes with fruit, candy or clove flavors.
Kretek International Inc., an importer and distributor of Djarum clove cigars, filed a suit Wednesday challenging the FDA's ban, the Wall Street Journal reported. A representative of the company couldn't be reached for comment or clarification Thursday.
