Importer Recalls 664,000 Gas Grills Sold At Lowe's

Law360, New York (November 18, 2009, 4:16 PM ET) -- The importer of more than 664,000 gas grills sold exclusively at Lowe's Home Centers in the U.S. and Canada issued a voluntary recall of these units on Wednesday following multiple reports of burner fires.

North Wilkesboro, N.C.-based L G Sourcing Inc., in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, announced that consumers should immediately stop using the 663,000 Perfect Flame SLC Series gas grills distributed in the U.S. and the additional 1,700 units sold in Canada between September 2005 and May 2009....
