Law360, New York (December 11, 2009, 5:49 PM ET) -- The Federal Trade Commission has alerted consumers to be wary of anyone trying to sell them test kits, inspections or quick fixes to homes that were built with contaminated drywall from China.
The agency posted a consumer warning on its Web site on Friday and said even though the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is in the process of reviewing tests and methods to repair affected homes, none of the potential remedies have received federal approval.
