Calif. Bill Seeks To Snuff E-Cigarette Sales To Kids

Law360, New York (January 21, 2010, 12:24 PM ET) -- Taking another step in California's fight against electronic cigarettes, a state senator has launched legislation that would curb the selling of the controversial smoking products to minors.

The bill, introduced Jan. 14 by Sen. Ellen M. Corbett, D-San Leandro, comes after Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger shot down a previous, broader version of the measure in October that would have banned the sale of electronic cigarettes to all consumers.
