Law360, New York (February 03, 2010, 5:41 PM ET) -- Nearly 200 complaints have been filed with U.S. and Japanese transport authorities about brake problems with Toyota Motor Corp.'s 2010 Prius hybrid, a blow to the carmaker that comes amid its global vehicle recall to address problems with sticking accelerator pedals.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration had received 166 complaints as of Wednesday afternoon pertaining to the brakes malfunctioning in the new gas-electric hybrid, which went on sale in May and is not part of the automaker's most recent recall of eight vehicle models....
