Ford Rollover Suit Booted For Lack Of Expert Witness

Law360, New York (March 18, 2010, 1:23 PM ET) -- A magistrate judge has tossed a lawsuit against Ford Motor Co. that alleged two people were injured in a rollover accident because their Ford Explorer was defective and unreasonably dangerous, citing the absence of technical expert testimony.

Magistrate Judge Morton Denlow of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois dismissed the case Wednesday because David Show and Maria Federici had not offered an expert to opine on the allegedly defective condition of the vehicle.
