Honeywell Air Cleaner Suit Pared Down

Law360, New York (March 26, 2010, 12:34 PM ET) -- A federal judge has stripped class claims from a suit alleging Honeywell International Inc. failed to warn that its air cleaners could emit harmful amounts of ozone.

Judge Aleta Trauger of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee issued the ruling Wednesday. Aside from striking the putative class, she also dismissed claims of fraudulent concealment, fraud, negligent misrepresentation and two claims under New Jersey consumer law.
