Law360, New York (April 26, 2010, 7:31 PM ET) -- AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP reportedly plans to finalize a deal with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania this week to pay $520 million to settle an investigation into the sales and marketing practices for its antipsychotic Seroquel.
The U.S. Department of Justice is planning a news conference for Wednesday to announce the completion of the 2009 agreement and disclose details of the case, according to The New York Times, which cites two unnamed sources close to the negotiations.
