Law360, New York (May 24, 2010, 4:48 PM ET) -- A New Hampshire man who claims his mother was stabbed to death by his father while under the influence of fluoxetine, the generic form of Prozac, has seen his product liability suit against Barr Laboratories Inc. thrown out.
Judge Glenn T. Suddaby's ruling Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York agreed with Barr's August motion to dismiss, which argued plaintiff Erich M. Sorrentino's lawsuit, filed last year, was time-barred.
