Yamaha 3 For 4 In Trials Over Rhino Defects

Law360, New York (August 12, 2010, 3:52 PM ET) -- A California state jury has decided Yamaha Motor Corp. USA is not liable for injuries in an accident involving a Yamaha Rhino off-road vehicle, giving the company its third victory in four trials over alleged Rhino product defects.

The jury issued its verdict Wednesday in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Bernardino, denying the request of plaintiffs Jacob Lewis and Patrick Hernandez to obtain more than $10 million in damages from Yamaha.
