Law360, New York (October 01, 2010, 2:12 PM ET) -- The BMW Group on Friday issued a worldwide recall of nearly 350,000 vehicles due to potential problems with the cars’ power braking systems.
The recall, which includes nearly 200,000 vehicles in the U.S., affects V8 and V12-powered BMW 5 Series, 7 Series and Rolls-Royce cars produced between 2002 and 2010, the company’s U.S.-based unit said Friday.
The company said that in affected vehicles, a leak could develop in the power braking system, potentially causing problems with power braking assistance.
