Law360, New York (October 28, 2010, 6:23 PM ET) -- Investigators looking into the Deepwater Horizon disaster have found evidence that Halliburton Co. knew that a cement mixture used in the Gulf of Mexico oil well was potentially unstable.
A lead investigator into reasons for the spill, attorney Fred H. Bartlit Jr. of Bartlit Beck Herman Palenchar & Scott LLP, noted those findings in a letter Thursday to the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling.
