Law360, New York (March 01, 2011, 9:30 PM ET) -- A Florida state jury last week awarded nearly $3.4 million to the widow of a man who died of lung cancer after smoking for more than four decades in a suit against R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and Philip Morris USA Inc.
An Alachua County, Fla., jury on Thursday gave $3 million to the 81-year-old widow of John Huish, finding that R.J. Reynolds and Philip Morris should each fork over $1.5 million in punitive damages.
