Starbucks Vendor Recalls Wraps Over Bacteria Fears

Law360, New York (July 21, 2011, 3:58 PM ET) -- A Starbucks Corp. food supplier on Tuesday recalled ready-to-eat chicken wraps sold at the coffee chain's locations in Georgia and Alabama after tests showed they may be contaminated with potentially deadly bacteria.

Flying Food Group LLC called back 204 pounds of Starbucks' chipotle chicken wraps Bistro Box and chicken and hummus Bistro Box because they may be tainted with Listeria monocytogenes, a bacterium that can cause high fever, severe headaches and death, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service said.
