Law360, New York (July 27, 2011, 12:27 PM ET) -- The Eleventh Circuit ruled Tuesday that Continental Tire North America Inc. could not be held liable for an auto accident that caused the death of a 7-year-old Florida girl, tossing a lawsuit claiming the company made defective tires.
The appeals court upheld a Florida federal court's ruling that plaintiff Adam Beauregard had not provided enough evidence to allege that Continental's tire was responsible for his sister's death.
