2.2M Hondas Recalled In US, China Over Transmissions

Law360, New York (August 05, 2011, 7:20 PM ET) -- Honda Motor Co. announced Friday that it would voluntarily recall about 1.5 million cars in the United States to fix automatic transmission problems that could cause engines to stall, as well as about 750,000 vehicles in China.

The vehicles being recalled in the U.S. include 2005 to 2010 four-cylinder Accords, 2007 to 2010 CR-Vs and 2005 to 2008 Elements. The Chinese recall, meanwhile, includes 760,515 Accords, Odysseys and Spiriors.
