RJ Reynolds Loses Bid For New Trial In $28M Suit

Law360, New York (August 30, 2011, 7:32 PM ET) -- A Connecticut federal judge ruled Friday that R.J. Reynolds Co. should not get a new trial after a long-time smoker won $28 million in damages against the tobacco giant in her lawsuit accusing it of partly causing her throat cancer.
