Law360, New York (July 12, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- In the latest blow to American Honda Motor Co., the automobile maker has been hit with a product liability lawsuit claiming that the Acura's allegedly defective handling system caused the death of a Texas woman.
The lawsuit, filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas by several family members on behalf of Aizaz D. Vardag, takes issue with the “defective nature” of the 2002 Acura MDX.
