Boeing Sued Over Deadly 2010 Ethiopian Airlines Crash

Law360, Chicago (January 26, 2012, 1:36 PM ET) -- The special administrators of the estates of 23 passengers who died in an Ethiopian Airlines plane crash in January 2010 sued The Boeing Co. in Illinois court Wednesday, alleging that the aircraft industry behemoth negligently designed and manufactured the plane.

In two separate complaints, the administrators allege that Chicago-based Boeing installed ineffective control systems in the plane that plunged into the Mediterranean Sea two years ago, killing all 82 passengers and eight crew members onboard.
