Toyota Plaintiffs Lack Standing, Groups Tell 9th Circ.

Law360, San Diego (March 02, 2012, 10:39 PM ET) -- The Civil Justice Association of California and other groups urged the Ninth Circuit on Friday to reverse a decision that allowed Toyota owners whose cars did not have sudden acceleration defects to bring claims in multidistrict litigation, claiming the ruling would open the floodgates to more litigation.
