Law360, New York (May 07, 2012, 8:13 PM ET) -- A California appeals court on Friday reversed an asbestos suit ruling in favor of car parts machinery maker Hennessy Industries Inc. for the second time in a month, again finding that a company can be sued for making a product involved in the release of asbestos from another product.
A three-judge panel ruled that a lower court was wrong to grant judgment on the pleadings to Hennessy in four suits over injuries allegedly caused by the release of asbestos from brake linings by a Hennessy-made machine....
