Law360, New York (May 11, 2012, 4:06 PM ET) -- South Korea said Friday that it would continue to import beef from the U.S., finding that despite a confirmed case of mad cow disease in the U.S., the beef did not pose a threat to public health and safety.
The Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries said in a statement that after an investigation that included several inspections of U.S. facilities, government officials did not identify any problems with imports of U.S. beef.
