Judge Won't Reconsider CEO Liability For J&J Recalls

Law360, New York (May 22, 2012, 7:44 PM ET) -- A New Jersey federal judge on Tuesday refused the request of Johnson & Johnson shareholders to reconsider her December decision that CEO William Weldon could not be held liable for several costly drug recalls as part of a securities suit.

U.S. District Judge Freda Wolfson said that plaintiff Ronald Monk was wrong when he said she had committed a clear legal error by ruling that Weldon could not be held liable.
