Law360, Washington (July 06, 2012, 4:15 PM ET) -- The U.K.'s health care cost watchdog on Friday nixed Avastin's chances of becoming a first-line breast cancer treatment in the country, saying research doesn't prove Roche Holding AG's drug would lengthen patients' lives, although it did slow the cancer's progression.
