Law360, New York (July 26, 2012, 7:20 PM ET) -- Ford Motor Co. said Wednesday it was voluntarily recalling about 485,000 Escapes to fix a problem that could cause gas pedals to stick when they’re all the way or nearly all the way pushed down.
The worldwide recall affects certain 2001 through 2004 model year Escapes that are equipped with 3-liter V-6 engines with cruise control, the company said in a letter to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
