Judge Potentially Limits Claims in Avandia MDL

Law360, New York (August 09, 2012, 3:06 PM ET) -- A Pennsylvania federal judge on Tuesday set a deadline date for heart disease claims against GlaxoSmithKline PLC over diabetes drug Avandia, which could retroactively reduce the number of claims in a broader multidistrict litigation against the pharmaceutical giant.
