JPML Won't Consolidate Uponor Faulty Plumbing Parts Suits

Law360, New York (September 28, 2012, 6:32 PM ET) -- The U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation declined Thursday to centralize in Minnesota 19 lawsuits accusing Uponor Inc. of intentionally manufacturing faulty components for plumbing systems, saying to do so would further complicate an already complex set of cases.

Not only do the individual complaints possess distinct arguments, but many cases fail to mention if they involve the plumbing system in litigation, Uponor’s F1960 series, the JPML said.
