GSK To Make Trial Data Available To Researchers

Law360, New York (October 11, 2012, 3:41 PM ET) -- GlaxoSmithKline PLC announced Thursday it would make data from clinical trials for its approved drugs and abandoned treatments available to the public, a move it classified as the first of its kind in the drug industry.

Researchers will be able to submit requests to an independent panel of experts established by GSK for anonymized, patient-level data, the drugmaker said.
