Deli Meat Co. Says Insurer Must Cover $33M Recall Judgment

Law360, New York (October 11, 2012, 3:57 PM ET) -- Cold cuts producer Daniele International Inc. on Tuesday demanded Penn-Star Insurance Co. cover a $33.2 million judgment against a spice dealer that allegedly sold Daniele pepper contaminated with salmonella that led to a recall of more than 1.2 million pounds of its pepper-coated salami products.
