Law360, New York (October 22, 2012, 5:25 PM ET) -- Spray foam insulation manufacturer Demilec LLC and building products giant Masco Corp. were hit with a proposed class action in Florida federal court Friday alleging they provided toxic insulation to homeowners nationwide.
Bruce and Judy Haas allege those companies, as well as Builder Services Group Inc. and Hovnanian Enterprises Inc., are liable for damages due to their role in the design, manufacture, labeling, importing, distributing, delivery, supply, procuring, marketing, inspecting, installing or sale of the allegedly problematic spray polyurethane foam insulation.
