Law360, New York (October 23, 2012, 6:54 PM ET) -- The House Committee on Energy and Commerce on Monday expanded its probe into the meningitis outbreak with a request for documents from the New England Compounding Center, the pharmacy federal officials blamed for the outbreak.
In two letters sent to ex-NECC owner Barry Cadden and the pharmacy's attorney, members of the Energy and Commerce committee asked for all third-party or governmental inspection reports from the past decade, in addition to any compliance or consent agreements and all communications between employees and inspectors.
