Bellwether Toyota Acceleration Trial To Proceed Jan. 2

Law360, Los Angeles (October 31, 2012, 7:03 PM EDT) -- The California judge overseeing consolidated state court litigation over unintended acceleration in Toyota Motor Corp. vehicles on Wednesday rejected a bellwether plaintiff's request to delay his Jan. 2 trial, saying the pressure of being the first such California trial doesn't justify pushing back the start.
