Law360, New York (November 09, 2007, 12:00 AM ET) -- In a major coup for Ford Motor Company, a Florida appeals court has overturned a $60 million product liability award handed to the parents of a teenager killed during the rollover of a 1996 Ford Explorer sport utility vehicle.
On Wednesday, the Third District Court of Appeal for the State of Florida tossed out the earlier, multi-million dollar verdict and ordered a new trial in the case involving deceased victim Lance Hall.
