LG Calls Back Top-Loading Washers Due To Injury Risk

Law360, Los Angeles (December 19, 2012, 7:06 PM ET) -- LG Electronics Inc. is recalling 457,000 washing machines after hundreds of reports of excessively vibrating washers that caused minor property damage and one injury, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Tuesday.

The recall covers three LG brand and three Kenmore Elite brand top-loading washing machine models manufactured between February 2010 and November 2011.
