Brazil Looks To Augment $150M Chevron Oil Spill Settlement

Law360, New York (December 19, 2012, 6:21 PM ET) -- A Brazilian environmental official reportedly said Wednesday that the government was pursuing additional payments from Chevron Corp. on top of the $150 million settlement the energy giant has offered to resolve a pair of $11 billion lawsuits over two major oil spills.
